RAC's Community Ed program is designed to provide Western Australians with valuable information concerning road and community safety, and advice on a number of other important issues.
Our highly trained and experienced presenters offer expert advice to groups of eight or more people, with FREE information sessions and interactive workshops. Presentations cover a wide variety of topics and can be tailored to the particular needs and interests of different groups including students, parents, seniors and community clubs and associations.
If you would like further information regarding the services we offer, please contact the Community Ed office on 9436 4471 or email communityeducation@rac.com.au or complete the online booking form.

Students in years 10, 11 and 12 have the chance to win fantastic prizes for creating a short film, poster or banner, or one of each. Students can enter as many times as they wish - they just need their teacher to register to be eligible. The awards ceremony will be held in July 2008 so visit fame.rac.com.au to find out more.
Seniors Program
If you belong to a seniors club or organisation within the metropolitan area, Community Ed can visit your group and give you the opportunity to learn more about issues in your community that affect you.

RAC Regional Road Safety Weeks are run throughout the year in Albany, Kalgoorlie, Bunbury and Geraldton. For each Road Safety Week, we conduct a school program, senior's workshops, Steps to Safer Driving and child restraint checks in the area. Where possible, we get involved with community groups to discuss and run a theme on local road safety issues.

Child Restraint Checks
Correctly fitted child restraints are vital to keep your child safe while driving, but many of us are unsure when it comes to fitting them. RAC's Community Ed Officers regularly visit local shopping centres, child care centres and organisations as a courtesy service. If you would like to arrange a visit, we require two to four car bays in order to establish a check point, as well as appropriate space and shelter.
