Paraplegic Benefit Fund
Paraplegic Benefit Fund
The RAC is a proud partner of Paraplegic Benefit Fund (PBF).
PBF's mission is to reduce the incidence of spinal cord injury in Australia and to reduce the impact of injuries for those already living with paraplegia or quadriplegia.
PBF pursues its mission through many channels including their award winning PBF Prevention programmes developed for students in years 10, 11 and 12.
The RAC and PBF Australia are also cooperating to add value to the RAC Community Ed and the PBF Youth Road Safety programmes. RAC provides funding to PBF to employ one additional presenter and to provide 35 presentations per school term.
Thanks to the RAC this valuable programme will continue to reach many more students throughout Western Australia and help address the issue of death and serious injury from road trauma.
