1. Will I be able to search for my quote on the internet?
Yes, you will be able to search for a previous quote by entering your first name, surname and quote number.
2. Will I have to pay any fees?
Yes, there is a one-off establishment fee, Government Stamp Duty and any applicable Register of Encumbered Vehicles (REVs) fee. These fees will be included in your monthly repayment quote.
3. Will the system reject any applications that are not completed correctly?
The system will advise you if a mandatory field is not completed correctly on the application. If a mandatory field is not completed, a red dot or error message box will appear next to the incomplete section.
4. How long does it take for an application to be processed?
An RAC Finance lending consultant will contact you within seven working hours to discuss the application and to schedule the necessary information we will need before we can release the funds to you.
5. How old do I have to be to take out an RAC loan?
You must be aged 18 years or over.
6. Do I have to live in Western Australia to take out a loan with the RAC?
Yes, you must be a resident of Western Australia to apply for an RAC loan.
7. Can I join as a new RAC member when applying for a loan?
Yes, you can join as a new RAC member when taking out your loan and you will receive the member discounts. On the quote screen, select your level of Roadside Assistance under the Membership Status heading and the membership discounts will be automatically included. The first year's membership will be included in your quote.

9. How long does it take to lodge an application?
It takes about 10 minutes for an application to be lodged online, over the phone, or at any RAC Member Service Centre. All you need are the details of your assets and liabilities, your income information and your driver's licence.
10. How much deposit do I need?
In most instances we may be able to lend you up to 100%, however if your loan is for a motorcycle, jetski or imported vehicle we may require some deposit. Our applications are obligation free so if you complete one for us we can give you an answer in seven working hours and let you know what we can do for you.
