McCarthy appointed RAC Insurance CEO

RAC Insurance has appointed Mike McCarthy as its Chief Executive Officer.
Mr McCarthy joins WA's largest private motor and home insurer from the CUNA Mutual Group in Australia where he led the general and lifestyle insurance businesses for the past seven years.
He has worked in the insurance industry for 25 years having joined National Credit Union Insurance Services in 1982 from BHP and has experience in insurance broking, insurance system development and insurance product distribution and manufacture.
Mr McCarthy has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Western Australia, an Advanced Diploma of Financial Services and is a Fellow in the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance.
