Some special valuables need their own extra bit of cover.
If you own items such as expensive jewellery, watches or a digital camera, RAC Personal Valuables Insurance will cover the possessions that are often valued higher than your standard policy allows.
For a small additional cost, you can also safeguard your belongings if they're lost, damaged or stolen anywhere in Australia.
If you don't wish to specify each item individually, simply choose an Unspecified Personal Valuables policy.
Items covered in your Personal Valuables Insurance policy may include:
- Jewellery, watches
- Binoculars, telescopes
- Contact lenses, dentures, hearing aids, prescription spectacles
- Crutches, walking sticks, non-motorised wheelchairs
- Sporting equipment or musical instruments (whilst not in use)
- EPIRB's, GPS, calculators
- Photographic equipment, video cameras, portable radios, portable digital music players (excluding discs)
- Digital storage devices (excluding digitally stored data)
