Rewards for safe drivers
Being entitled to a maximum no-claim bonus means that you have not had an accident which has been your fault for at least five years. You have proven that you are a safe driver. All RAC Insurance maximum no-claim bonus Comprehensive Motor Vehicle policies are entitled to one windscreen claim per policy year without it affecting your no-claim bonus or paying the Basic Excess.
At fault claims
For an additional charge, RAC Insurance Comprehensive Motor Vehicle policies offer no-claim bonus protection for maximum no-claims bonus policy holders even if the accident is your fault. All maximum no-claim bonus policy holders can lodge one at fault claim per year, without it affecting your no claim bonus. Policy excesses do apply.
Discounts for new car buyers
You can receive up to 10% premium discount if you purchase a brand new vehicle and take out an RAC Insurance Comprehensive Motor Vehicle policy .
New vehicle replacement
If your new Private use vehicle is a total loss in the first year of registration with an RAC Insurance Comprehensive Motor Vehicle policy we may replace it with a brand new vehicle that is the same make and model if one is available locally or pay the agreed value specified in your current policy schedule less any applicable excesses.
Third party property damage cover
RAC Insurance Comprehensive Motor Vehicle policy provides $25 million protection if your vehicle causes damage to property and you are found negligent.
Agreed value cover
With an RAC Insurance Comprehensive Motor Vehicle policy we agree the value for which your car is insured. If your car is written-off later that's exactly the amount we pay you - less any applicable excess.
No excess if an accident wasn't your fault
If you make a claim for an accident that wasn't your fault and we agree with you, and you provide the name/residential address of the other driver involved in the accident together with the registration number of the other vehicle you wont pay a cent in excess, or lose any of your no-claim bonus.

If you are a Maximum No Claim Bonus policyholder, you can make one windscreen claim per policy year without affecting your No Claim Bonus or paying the Basic Excess.
Automatic trailer cover
When you connect a luggage trailer to your car, it's automatically covered up to $400 with an RAC Insurance Comprehensive Motor Vehicle policy - providing it is used for private purposes.
Taxi fare home
RAC Insurance Comprehensive Motor Vehicle policy will pay up to $50 for the cost of a taxi home from the scene of an accident.
