How do I renew my insurance policy?
You can do this online. Have your payment number ready. You can find this on your renewal notice
You can also renew your car or home insurance in myRAC and update your policy details at the same time.
You can’t pay an excess this way. To pay an excess, please call 13 17 03.
How do I view my insurance policy?
The following guide walks you through the process of viewing your insurance policy online. Currently this feature is not available for these products:
- Small business insurance
- Life insurance
- Health insurance
How do I make an insurance claim?
You can still claim online or over the phone. You may need:
- Your policy number or car registration.
- Incident details (when, where & what happened).
- If possible, the name, address, phone number and licence details of any drivers involved.
How do I cancel my insurance policy?
You can cancel your home, car and most other insurance policies in myRAC.
If you need to cancel:
- Travel insurance, call us on 1300 655 179
- Health insurance, call HCF on 1800 649 422 and select option 1
- Small business insurance, call VIZ on 1300 850 491
